Within the "Dog eat Dog" world of the Vavra's
We went to the Lutheran High Northeast volleyball game the other night. Kalina wanted to help retrieve balls as the team serves them. She went over asked the coach and she was assigned her place

This is Lili our newest foster dog. She is a 3 year old Standard Silver Poodle! So far she is a sweetheart Hopefully Mo will not fall in love with her
We had a great night for trick or treating!!! Sun came out and we made good on the candy part. Kalina was an evil witch and Loel a powerranger and Mo was a Nebraska fan!
Mo had the great task of cleaning out the gutters today. It was in between rain yesterday and 2 inches of snow the day before so with the sun peeking out he decided to get the gutters cleaned. He convinced Laney to join him on the roof. She is our 12 year old dog!!!
Last night (Tuesday) I was able to get last minute tickets to the Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) concert in Omaha. So I picked up Kalina from school and we went to Omaha to attend Kalina’s 1st concert. We rode with 2 of Kalina’s friends and their mom. It was a fun time and a night she will be talking about for a while.

We had crab legs last night for dinner! It was the first time that I made them at home. They were delicious!!!!!! We will have them again — it was a nice change of pace from all the BEEF!!!
with the winds blowing over 35 mph this evening, we stayed inside. So Kalina and daddy made pirate hats and other fun easy projects!
Saturday was the Lions day parade. It was a great morning for it!
